In 1976 Bernareggi started operating from a small 100 square meters warehouse, supplying continuous cast-iron bars to customers in the surrounding area, who soon began to value the reliability and excellence of the company's service. Since then, the acquisition of an ever increasing number of qualified customers had determined the balanced, steady growth of Bernareggi, engaged in a constant search for new solutions to enhance the quality and continuity of services, selecting cast-iron bars from the best European foundries.
In 1997 started the relationship with Tasso, a Danish foundry leader in continuous-casting production, owned by the Vald. Birn A/S Group, operating foundries in Denmark and UK. In 1999 Vald. Birn acquired a minority interest in Bernareggi S.p.a., and thus converted the long-lasting co-operating into a partnership. Today, the warehouse at Castano Primo, occupying a covered area of 3.400 square meters and with a stock of approximately 1000 tonnes, is a major point of reference for all continuous cast-iron bars users
